about

This song was an exercise in trying to find inspiration everywhere. This time: I looked at my calendar and saw that it was National Lash Day. So I wrote a song celebrating how sassy one can feel when wearing prosthetic eye hair. Weird when you think about it, but hey - whatever works.

lyrics

Look at those lashes
Breaking my day apart
The world's coming in flashes
Making my own strobe art
If I don't want to see you
My eyes have a bodyguard
But if I like how you're looking
They open the door to my heart.

Let's take a look-see
I am peeking
And my side-eye is on fleek.
Lashes so long that I feel shady
Feeling dangerous, like it's my heyday.

Look.
